Territory Leader, Contract Northwest Residential

Candidates with experience in Residential sales and a strong existing network within the Residential builder/developer and design community in Territory will be viewed most favorably. The Contract Territory Leader manages existing single family builders, multi-family residential developers, strategic residential interior design firms, and all related relationships within the "eco systems" of these customers. They will also be responsible for generating new business within these verticals to achieve the planned sales volumes and margins of his/her territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare territory sales plan to achieve the quarterly and annual sales and margin goals.
Understand the decision process in all the various residential segments and sell to the complex web of decision makers which includes influencers, purchasers and developers.
Use consultative selling skills to discover needs, propose tailored solutions and provide world class execution.
Understand the Contract Division's fulfillment strategy, guiding customers to lines and products that we can best supply to meet the specific quality, customization and timing requirements of the particular client.
Qualify, lead, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted strategic residential accounts and leads generated through Metro Study reports and RH Contract inquiries.
Partner with account management team to make sure all client and project needs are met.
Segment accounts within the territory based on strategic importance; long term loyalty; project complexity; and current and potential spend.
Attend trades shows and networking events as necessary.
Cultivate highly collaborative relationships with decision makers and key players in the buying process; develop a network of RH "allies" to support sales and delivery of solutions.
Able to reach the right level of decision makers to drive and execute strategic wins with defined residential installed product categories.
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports as required.
Work with Project Manager or Account Specialist at RH headquarters to ensure projects are properly managed, including creation of quotes and invoices, product selection, order fulfillment planning, and coordinating all internal resources needed to fulfill orders.
Perform other duties as requested.
Respond to inquiries positively and professionally, and within the timeframes defined by SOP.
Report all key communications and activities in the CRM system.
The Contract Territory Leader will operate independently from a home office base with the basic support of the National Residential Leader and the Contract headquarters team.

Must be able to travel 40% of the time to ensure strong coverage of the territory.
Completely comfortable with Apple products as business tools (Macbook, iPad, iPhone), including desktop and web-based applications such as word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, CRM and order entry systems.
Experience using SalesForce.com or a similar CRM system preferred.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field (equivalent level of experience will be considered) or a design degree with experience working in Contract design
Minimum 5 years of successful outside sales experience in the Contract/Residential (or related) industry

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
